Attention
Pittsfield’s Troops!
Names for the Veterans Memorial at Dustin
Park
The American Legion, in
conjunction with the Pittsfield Historical Society, is attempting to
undertake the challenge of honoring all military personnel
sent out from Pittsfield. Those who have served
during times of declared war or conflict will have their names
engraved on the monument at Dustin Park dedicated for this purpose.
We are looking specifically for men and woman who have served after
Vietnam. Due to the enormity of this project, accuracy counts and some
information may need verification. Plans for a published accounting
of this information are also underway. We want you or your loved
one included. If you have had a neighbor or friend who was sent out
and they have since moved away, this information is valuable, too.
Don’t assume we have your information. Please fill in the online
questionnaire below or send the completed
questionnaire to Larry
Berkson, 34 Connemara Drive, Chichester, New Hampshire 03263. There
are computers available at the Carpenter Library if necessary.
