Early Head-Start

A free educational program for income eligible prenatal women, infant, and children up to the age of 3. Home visitors meet with you weekly to provide fun activities, information, and support. Pittsfield Beautification Committee
Meets at the home of Theresa S. Reil at 30 Manchester St on the 4th Tuesday of each month at 1:00. Volunteers are always welcome.

Pittsfield Community Center
Built as a Meeting House in 1789, the Community Center has gone through additions of enclosed stairways at each end called porches and roofline changes.  Since 1789 it has also been a church, a school and again as a Town Hall.   After being partially destroyed by fire, it was purchased by the Pittsfield Center Development Corporation in 1987 and renovated to the Community Center.  The four floors of the Center served as meeting places  for the following organizations:  Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Brownies, Encore Dance, 4H, AA, Circle of Home and Family, Senior Center, WIC, PYBA (winter Months), Rotary, Chamber of Commerce.  There is one director, Mini Plante.  She can be reached at 435-6729 or e-mail Mini Plante.

Senior Center
The Senior Center is located in the Pittsfield Community Center at 74 Main Street, Pittsfield, NH, serving the Seniors of Barnstead, Chichester, Epsom, Loudon and Pittsfield. An Elderly Nutrition Program is operated Monday-Friday at 11:30 am. Various programs are held daily prior to the Nutrition Program. Call 435-8482 for reservations.
