MISSION
To instill in the youth of Pittsfield the ideals of good sportsmanship, loyalty, courage and reverence, so that they will grow to be good, strong and healthy young men and women.
The Pittsfield Youth Baseball Association was organized in 1981 and incorporated as a not-for-profit on August 12, 1982. Youth ages 4-16 and the Pittsfield Middle High School girl's softball team utilize the fields. There are four T-ball teams, seven boys baseball teams, seven girls softball teams, 43 coaches, 12 umpires, 14 score keepers, two concession stand operators with 40 helpers, and a grounds crew of three with 12 helpers, all volunteers. There are no paid staff. Over 200 youth participate in PYBA's baseball and softball programs.
