The Suncook Valley Area Lions Club wants your shoes. Gently used shoes will be sent to the Rerun Program that runs a center for disabled adults. Lions Camp Pride will be paid for every pair of shoes that we collect. Men's Shoes • Women's Shoes • Athletics • Kid's Shoes • Sandals • Athletic Cleats, please, no flip flops, crocs, high heels or winter boots. In the month of February the Lions will have collection containers at The First Congregational Church, Globe, Jitters Café and Stars & Stripes Auctions, LLC.

Facilitating for Public Engagement workshop will be held on Mon, Feb. 23 from 9:30-4:30 at PMHS Media Center. The daylong workshop is designed to give participants an understanding of the critical role of facilitators in the broad spectrum of public engagement work. We spend time locating the work in local and statewide projects, walking through a typical "talk to action" process, and emphasizing the principles that guide our work. Prior facilitation experience is helpful but not necessary. Dress is casual and meals, refreshments and training materials will be provided. Childcare available upon request. This training is free for Pittsfield community members. $40 fee for non-Pittsfield members. Visit www.pittsfieldlistens.org for more information or contact Molly at 603-312-6980. Hosted by Pittsfield Listens and NH Listens.

Pittsfield Schools are closed for Vacation Feb 23- 27.

The Pittsfield Circle of Home and Family meeting for February has been canceled. The next meeting will be on March 26.

Meet the Candidates Night, sponsored by Pittsfield Listens and the Greater Pittsfield Chamber of Commerce, will be held on Monday, March 2 at Pittsfield Middle High School Cafeteria - 6:15pm refreshments and 6:30-8pm - program. Join to meet and ask questions of the candidates for local office. Child care available upon request. For more information, please contact Molly with Pittsfield Listens at 312-6980 or molly@pittsfieldlistens.org.

The Conservation Commission will meet on Thursday, Feb. 26 at 7pm at the Town Hall.

The Read, Meet & Talk Book Club will meet on Tuesday, Feb. 24 from 10:30-12:00 at the Pittsfield Senior Center.

Happy Birthday wishes to my nieces Emma and Ava Foster on Tuesday, Feb. 24. I hope you have a great day.
