The First Congregational Church, 24 Main Street, will hold their annual Craft Fair on Saturday, December 6, 9 am-2 pm. A dozen local artisans feature fine seasonal crafts of all types including knits, decorative items, fresh greenery, gourmet selections and much more including items offered by the Pittsfield Historical Society. Luncheon is available and offered by the Dorcas Guild. There is parking and a wheelchair accessible entrance at rear of church. For more information call the church office at 435-7471.

Save the date - Sat, Dec.6 for the annual Chamber of Commerce sponsored Children's Store from 9-noon at the PES Gym. Kids only shopping at Kid friendly prices. The Victory Workers 4-H club will be holding a Cookie Walk at PES from 9- noon. Also on Sat, Dec. 6 from 4-6pm at Dustin Park on Main Street is the Tree Lighting Celebration. There will be free horse drawn wagon rides, cookies, cocoa, popcorn and candycanes to enjoy. Holiday music, face painting, Gingerbread Houses Display and raffle, Storytime with Mrs. Grainger, visit and pictures with Santa. Be sure to vote for the best Decorated Holiday Wreath and to put your name in for a free raffle for a live Christmas tree. Hot soups, chili, and chowder will be available for a donation of non-perishable food or a small monetary donation.

The Suncook Valley Area Lions Club is collecting new or handmade hats, mittens, scarves or socks for kids. Donations may be left at Jitters Café or brought to the Christmas Tree Lighting event on Sat, Dec. 6 at Dustin Park.

Bring a Decorated Wreath to Dustin Park on Sat, Dec. 6 by 3:45pm. The wreaths will be displayed inside Pittsfield Youth Workshop and will be judged by the public. The winner will be announced at 6pm after the Tree lighting and will receive a "Surprise Goodie Basket", donated by Louie Houle of Meadow Ledge Farm.

The PES PTO will be sponsoring Breakfast with Santa on Sat, Dec. 6 at the PES Cafeteria from 8-9:30. The price for Breakfast is $3.00 and pictures with Santa will be available for $1.00.

The Pittsfield Players Annual FREE Christmas Show will be held on Friday, Dec. 5 at 7:30pm at the Scenic Theatre- sponsored by the E.P. Sanderson Trust.

There will be no school on Wed - Fri, Nov. 26-28. Enjoy the Thanksgiving holiday break.

The Town Hall will be closed on Thursday and Friday, Nov. 27-28.

The Pittsfield Area Senior Center will be closed on Thursday and Friday, Nov. 27-28.
