The Pittsfield Police
Association is sponsoring its second annual comedy show.
The Calvacade of Comedy Show will be held on Sept. 24 at 6pm
at the Dell-Lea Country Club. Tickets are $15 each and there
is limited space available. All proceeds go to the
Pittsfield Police Association and then are donated directly
back to the local community. For more information, contact
Officer Jay Darrah at the police station.
The Sunrise Farmer’s Market is going strong. Stop in
each Thursday from 3-5:30pm at Dustin Park.
The Encore School of Dance Education will begin
classes on Sept. 13 at the Pittsfield Community Center. For
more information, please call Diane Rueffert at 435-9381.
The Economic Development Committee will meet on Wed,
Sept. 1 at 5:30pm at the Town Hall.
The first day of school is Monday, Aug. 30. Welcome
back to school – I hope you all enjoyed your summer
vacation.

The first annual
Corinthian Cup Golf Tournament to benefit PYW will be
held on Sat., Aug. 28 at 8:00am at the Loudon Country Club.
A 4 person team scramble event, the registration fee is $90

The Pittsfield Player's, Encore 2010: A Musical
Review is performed every Tuesday night now through Aug. 31
at Steele Hill Resort in Sanbornton. Dinner theatre
performances at Steele Hill are priced at $29 per person
(excluding beverage, tax and tip) and include a 3-course
meal and the show. For reservations, call Steele Hill Resort

The Concord Regional Visiting Nurse Association is
offering a Senior Health Clinic at the Pittsfield Senior
Center on Aug. 23 from 9-3pm. All health clinic services are

The Pittsfield Players will hold auditions for "Hello Dolly"
on Aug. 22 at 2pm at the Scenic Theatre, 6 Depot Street.

The F.B. Argue Recreation Area will remain open for
swimming until Aug. 28. On Aug. 28 the Pool will be open
from 1-6pm and at 6pm a free cookout with hotdogs and
hamburgers will be held followed by the showing of an
outdoor movie (title to be determined).

on Monday, Aug. 23 at 6:30pm at Pittsfield Youth Workshop,
Park St.
Early Head Start is now in Pittsfield, Epsom and
Barnstead. Early Head Start is a free home visiting program
and weekly playgroup for income eligible children and their
parents. Home visitors will provide activities, information,
support and learning experiences for you and your child.
Prenatal women, infants and children up to the age of 3 can
be part of this fun educational program. For more

The Pittsfield School District will present "The
Digital Classroom" on Thursday, Aug. 26 from 4-7pm at PES.
All are invited to learn about the technology available in
