Visiting Nurse Association is offering an eight-week falls
prevention program “A Matter of Balance” that gives older
adults the self-confidence to reduce their fear of falling
and improve their activity levels. The program takes place
on Fridays beginning March 14 from 10 a.m. to noon at
Pittsfield Senior Center, 74 Main Street in Pittsfield.
There is no fee to attend this program and space is limited.

Legion Peterson Cram Post 75 March meeting will be held on
March 10 at 7:30pm at Post Commander Dan Ward's home, 6

Regional Visiting Nurses Association is offering a free
presentation "Let's Get Started: Healthy Habits at Any Age"
on Wed., March 19 from 12:30-1:30pm at the Pittsfield Senior
Center, 74 Main Street. Discover simple ways to make small
changes in your eating habits, physical activity and your
overall wellness plan. For more information, please call
Pond benefit dinner will be held on Sat, March 15 from 4-7pm
at the First Congregational Church. The dinner will have a
St. Patrick's Day theme with corned beef, cabbage, potatoes,
carrots, desserts and other refreshments being served. The
dinner is donations only. A bake sale and silent auction
will also be held.
Closet will have reduced hours until March 29 - open Tues,
Wed, and Sat from 10-1pm.
Sports announce softball and baseball sign ups for girls and
boys ages 4-18. Signups will be held on Tues, March 11 from
5:30-8pm at the Community Center. If your child is new to
the program please bring a copy of their birth certificate

The “Read, Meet
and Talk” book group will be meeting on Tuesday, March 18th
at 10:30 am at the Pittsfield Community Center. Our group is
growing! We will be discussing “Chasing Fireflies” by

Pittsfield Chamber of Commerce and Pittsfield Listens would

Food Pantry will again participate in the annual Feinstein
Foundation One Million Dollar Give Away to food pantries
across the nation. The appeal is from March 1 through April
30 and is for both monetary and food donations. Each item
that comes into the pantry is counted and the grant amount
is based on the number of items collected. Please donate!
