The purpose of the Pittsfield Conservation Commission is to ensure the proper utilization and protection of the town's natural resources and to promote awareness and understanding of conservation practices and policies for the benefit of current and future citizens.  The PCC carries out its mission with health, safety and general welfare of citizens in mind."
