Pittsfield NH Police - Explorer
Program
The Pittsfield Police
Department has had a Police Explorer post for a few
years now. The Police Explorers are part of the Daniel
Webster Council Exploring Department. We are looking to
hold another open house in the near future.
If you are between the ages of 14 to 21 and are interested in Law
Enforcement please contact the Pittsfield Police department. We
would like to invite you to attend some of the meetings to see what
the program is all about. There is no obligation to join. Those
who participate in the program will learn about the job and will be
able to receive training in different areas such as handcuffing
procedures, motor vehicle stops, defensive tactics, and much more.
The program has several state activities that go on throughout the
year such as the Police Cadet Academy.
Anyone who has any questions please contact the Police Department
at 435-7535. The points of contact for the program are Detective
Sergeant Rick Walter , Officer John Webber, and Officer Tanya
Emerson. We look forward to seeing you there.
