Books are loaned for a period of THREE WEEKS with renewal allowed. Renewal can be done at the library, by phone, or email.

There are no overdue fines at this time, but there is a “conscience jar” at the circulation desk. This is for donations from overdue or simply generous patrons. Feel free to add to it.

Materials are loaned for the following amount of time:

  1. Magazines - 3 Weeks

  2. Audio Books - 3 Weeks

  3. Movies - 1 Week

  4. New Adult Fiction - 2 Weeks

  5. Children's Fiction for Holidays - 2 Weeks

If an item owned by the library is lost or damaged, it must be paid for so the library can replace it. Until lost items are paid for, the individual responsible cannot borrow from the library.

Computer/Internet Usage Policy

Usage of computers and the Internet at the Library is a privilege. The library does not use filters on it's computers and material accessed on the Internet is the responsibility of each individual. Everyone must refrain from usage that the general public, children and library personnel may find offensive, anyone who views offensive material will not be allowed to use the library's computers. In addition, violation of local, state or federal law is not allowed.

Internet usage is limited to thirty (30) minutes per day. Time may be reserved by signing the Internet Usage Register, or contacting the library. The public computers are also available on a walk-in basis if they have not been previously reserved. If no one is waiting to use a public access computer, individuals may continue to use their computer for as long as they need, or until they are asked to sign off. Library personnel are the gatekeepers regarding computer time, and if a patron is asked to stop using the computer, the patron must do so.

Patrons under the age of 18 years must have an Internet Usage Permission Form signed by their parents and on file at the Library.
