Statement
To identify community needs, to assemble and organize materials, and
to provide guidance in order to promote knowledge and the enjoyment
of lifelong learning to all Pittsfield residents.
The
Trustees and Staff are committed to operating this library in
accordance with the New Hampshire Library Laws and to striving to
meet the current standards set by the American Library Association
and the New Hampshire Statewide Library Development System for
public libraries. We endorse intellectual freedom and subscribe to
the American Library Association’s
