The office of the Building Inspector is located in the
Pittsfield Town Office Building, located at 85 Main
Street. The duties of the Building Inspector cover the
following areas:
All buildings, plumbing, electrical permitting and
inspections, Housing Standards inspections and
complaints, Planning & Zoning Administration, as well as
general assistance to the public for questions on any
Town of Pittsfield adopted codes and ordinances.
The office can be reached by telephone at (603)
435-6773. Building inspections are conducted in the
afternoon by appointment only. To schedule inspections,
please contact this office a minimum of 24 hrs prior to
the needed inspection.
